Dukaj: Cybersecurity Requires Joint Action and Strong International Partnerships

Minister of Public Administration Marash Dukaj and Ambassador of the Czech Republic Janina Hrebíčková opened a workshop dedicated to strengthening institutional capacity in cybersecurity. The event is organized by the National Cyber and Information Security Agency of the Czech Republic (NUKIB), in cooperation with the Czech Embassy. The workshop continues the successful cooperation between Montenegro and the Czech Republic in the field of digital protection. Dukaj expressed special gratitude to the Embassy of the Czech Republic and NUKIB experts for their continued support, emphasizing that this partnership confirms the importance of joint initiatives for a safer digital environment. He also highlighted the valuable support of the e-Government Academy (eGA), through which Montenegrin representatives establish cooperation at international conferences that leads to concrete projects. Ambassador Hrebíčková stressed that cybersecurity is a key element of the two countries’ partnership, particularly at a time when rapid digitalization brings not only new opportunities but also increasingly complex security risks. “We are pleased to support, together with the Ministry of Public Administration and NUKIB experts, activities that strengthen Montenegrin institutions and prepare them to address cyber challenges,” Ambassador Hrebíčková said.
