Final meeting of the IFAD supervision mission
The final meeting of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) supervision mission for the GORA project – Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience in Montenegrin Mountain Areas was held, discussing project implementation so far, mission results, and upcoming activities. Representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management, including Secretary Igor Nišavić and acting director, met with IFAD representatives. During the mission, the IFAD delegation, along with territorial specialists, visited northern municipalities to assess local conditions and needs. It was agreed that efforts will be intensified to implement measures aimed at improving rural infrastructure, strengthening resilience in mountain areas, and enhancing living and working conditions in rural communities. The IFAD delegation expressed satisfaction with the outcomes of the meetings, agreements, and plans for the future, reaffirming their readiness to continue successful cooperation with Montenegrin institutions.
