Dukaj with Kazakhstan ambassador: Exchange of experiences and advanced digital solutions for modernization of public administration

The Minister of Public Administration, Mr. Marash Dukaj, met with the ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Daulet Batrešev, to discuss opportunities for further enhancing cooperation, with a special focus on digital transformation of public administration, development of electronic services, and application of modern GovTech solutions. Minister Dukaj assessed that the relations between Montenegro and Kazakhstan are good, but there is significant room for further improvement through concrete institutional cooperation and exchange of experiences in areas important for the modernization of public administration. The Kazakh ambassador, Batrešev, expressed Kazakhstan's readiness to deepen cooperation with Montenegro, especially through institutional linking and exchange of knowledge, experiences, and good practices in the field of digitalization of public administration. In this context, it was noted that the texts of two memoranda of understanding have been agreed upon – between the Ministry of Public Administration and the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan, as well as between the Ministry of Public Administration and the Agency of Kazakhstan for Civil Service. Signing these memoranda will establish a formal framework for intensifying direct cooperation between the relevant institutions of both countries in digital governance, innovation in the public sector, exchange of applied GovTech solutions, and human resource management. The interlocutors agreed that a date for signing the memoranda will be determined in the near future, marking an additional step towards stronger institutional ties between Montenegro and Kazakhstan and more concrete cooperation in digital transformation and human resource management.
