AKSK Concludes Awareness Activities for Children's Online Safety for the 2025–2026 School Year
AKSK concludes awareness activities for children's online safety for the 2025–2026 school year. The National Authority for Cybersecurity organized a closing awareness event for this school year with students from the 'Vatra e Dijes' school in Tirana, ending a series of activities dedicated to online safety and digital education for children and youth. Through discussions and interactive debates, children learned about the importance of protecting personal data, safe internet use, and ways to identify and avoid online risks. During the 2025–2026 school year, a total of 39 awareness activities were held across various regions of Albania, including 36 awareness sessions, 1 webinar, 1 training for Child Protection Workers, and 1 roundtable with institutions responsible for child protection. In total, 1,675 children and participants took part in these activities, aimed at strengthening digital safety culture and creating a safer online environment for the younger generations. These activities were conducted in collaboration with the National Agency for Children’s Rights and Protection, as part of joint efforts to raise awareness and protect children in the digital space. Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Regional Cooperation were key topics discussed at the Western Balkans Cyber Camp 2026. Cybersecurity News Bulletin May 2026.
