New Generation of Leaders for a Modernized Public Administration of Montenegro

The Human Resources Administration and the Regional School for Public Administration (ReSPA) today presented in the Montenegro Science and Technology Park a training program for modern administration aimed at developing advanced digital competencies among public administration employees. Digital transformation is not just about introducing new software. "Aware of the scope of this program and the fact that for the first time we are approaching technologies that are daily changing the world before our eyes in such an intensive way, I am confident that Next Gen Gov is a small revolution in our system." At the event opening, Public Administration Minister Marash Dukaj emphasized that "public administration reform depends on people," addressing the attendees with the words: "Technology is just our instrument, and people are the drivers of transformation. The ultimate goal should be visible to citizens – through fewer steps, clearer information, and higher quality public services." Over 60 working days of intensive, practical, and project-oriented learning, participants will work on challenges from the real environment of public administration. The program will be held in the premises of the Montenegro Science and Technology Park by General Assembly, a company active since 2011. The training will be conducted in English, with support from international lecturers and experts. The long-term goal of the program is to create a network of professionals capable of launching digital initiatives, improving public services, responsibly using artificial intelligence, and contributing to building a more efficient, transparent, and citizen-oriented public administration of Montenegro.
