Lighting up the incident of serious bodily injury to a minor in Budva: One person detained, criminal charges filed against two

Police officers from the Budva Department, in coordination with the competent Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor, have clarified the event in which a minor from Podgorica sustained serious bodily injury in front of a nightclub in Budva. They detained one person from Podgorica and filed criminal charges against two others suspected of committing the crime. On July 4th, around 4:00 AM, after midnight, emergency medical services in Budva reported that a minor with injuries had arrived at their facility. Officers responded to the scene and found that the 17-year-old from Podgorica had been physically harmed by unknown persons just outside a nightclub. The injured minor was taken for further treatment at the Clinical Center of Montenegro, where he was diagnosed with severe injuries, including a jaw fracture, confirmed by a specialist report. Through further operational and criminal investigations, police identified three individuals from Podgorica—one of whom is a 17-year-old minor—who, between 3:00 and 4:00 AM outside the nightclub, participated in disturbing public order and caused the minor to sustain serious injuries.
