Ibrahimović with foreign ministers of Papua New Guinea and Singapore: Diplomatic relations established with Papua New Guinea, agreement to intensify dialogue with Singapore

The Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Ervin Ibrahimović, met on the margins of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Papua New Guinea, Justin Tkačenko, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Singapore, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan. The interlocutors expressed readiness to further intensify communication and explore opportunities for more concrete forms of cooperation in the upcoming period. During the conversation with Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, modalities for intensifying political dialogue and improving bilateral relations, as well as cooperation in various areas of mutual interest, were discussed. The interlocutors exchanged opinions on potential initiatives that could give additional impetus to bilateral relations, with an assessment that there is room for stronger connections and more concrete contacts between the two countries. Ibrahimović emphasized the importance of developing relations with Southeast Asian countries, especially in the context of opportunities for exchange of experiences and improving cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
