A working meeting was held today in Bijelo Polje between Minister without Portfolio and President of the Coordination Body for Monitoring and Directing Inspection Supervision Milutin Butorović and his associates, the President of the Municipality of Bijelo Polje, Petar Smolović, and representatives of the local government. The meeting highlighted that, following the implementation of the Action Plan for the summer tourist season, which produced excellent results in restoring order and suppressing irregularities, equally intensive action would be undertaken during the winter. Minister Butorović stated that six inspection services would operate in the field during the winter season: the Tourism Inspectorate, Market Inspectorate, Tax Inspectorate, Sanitary Inspectorate, Labour Inspectorate, and Food Safety Inspectorate. It was emphasized that their work would primarily focus on preventive action, combating the informal economy, inspecting hospitality and tourism establishments and employment relations, and ensuring full health and sanitary safety of food and services. Municipal President Petar Smolović welcomed the comprehensive inspection supervision plan and expressed the readiness of municipal services to cooperate fully with state authorities in order to create a safe and orderly environment for all citizens, businesses, and visitors. Continuous field coordination and the rapid exchange of information between municipal services and the competent inspection authorities were agreed upon for the entire duration of the winter season.
