Border Police at GP Debeli Brijeg Discover Vehicle Wanted by Interpol and Falsified Driver's License
Officers of the Border Police Sector last night at the Debeli Brijeg Border Crossing discovered a vehicle wanted by Interpol, and a few hours earlier, they also found a falsified driver's license. Around 8:00 PM at the Debeli Brijeg border crossing, they checked a passenger car of the brand Audi A3 with German license plates, manufactured in 2022, driven by V.A (23), an Albanian citizen who owns the vehicle. Further checks through NCB Interpol Podgorica confirmed that an international warrant for the vehicle was issued on September 3, 2026. Additionally, at the same border crossing, on September 20, 2026, officers controlled a Toyota with Croatian plates driven by J.T (26), a Filipino citizen. The individual was detained upon order of the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Herceg Novi and will be brought before the prosecutor with a criminal complaint for suspicion of document falsification.
