Campaign 'Live, Don't Rush' – Increased Traffic Controls for August 10th and 11th

Mobile traffic police units – 'speed traps' – will be deployed on routes Podgorica-Cetinje, Podgorica-Virpazar, Podgorica-Danilovgrad-Nikšić, Nikšić-Plužine, as well as on the Princess Ksenija highway and other sections where there is an increased risk of serious traffic violations. The Regional Safety Center 'Center' (Podgorica, Cetinje, Danilovgrad, Tuzi, and Zeta) will organize traffic patrols in Podgorica on routes Podgorica–Danilovgrad and Podgorica–Bar, with special emphasis on speed control, driver intoxication, and psychoactive substances. Particular attention will be given to locations Sutorina, Igalo, Meljine, Dubrava, Zelenika, Kumbor, Baošići, Bijela, and Kamenari, where radar controls, traffic regulation, and preventive presence will be implemented, especially in areas expected to be congested. In Tivat, intensified controls will be organized on the M-1 highway, on the Lepetani–Grbalj (Radanovići roundabout) section, as well as on routes Radanovići–Solila–Radovići, Solila–Krašići–Luštica, Gornja Lastva local road, Kukoljina–Gradiošnica local road, and other local roads and urban areas, with a focus on vehicle and driver checks, especially motorcyclists, to prevent serious traffic violations. In Mojkovac, increased controls will be carried out on main routes M-2 Mojkovac–Kolašin and M-2 Mojkovac–Bijelo Polje, on sections Podbišće–Štitarička rijeka, Kraljevo Kolo area, Tutići–Krstac, Krstac–Stevanovac, Stevanovac–Lepenac, and Lepenac–Mijatovo Kolo. These locations are part of the planned engagement, and police officers will, based on the security situation, traffic volume, and other circumstances, adjust the schedule and focus increased surveillance on other sections as needed.
