Identified and prosecuted US citizen who caused disturbance at the town square in Plav; criminal complaint filed

Police officers from the Plav Security Department identified a person who caused a disturbance with firearms at the town square in Plav during a wedding celebration. Following activities, upon order of the public prosecutor, a criminal complaint was filed against him. During the event, multiple individuals used firearms, causing a disturbance in a public place—the town square in Plav—during a wedding celebration. Police took measures to identify those involved and determine all circumstances. It was established that the suspect, a US citizen from New York, allegedly fired shots into the air at the town square during the celebration. Officers from the Plav and Bijelo Polje Security Departments conducted further preventive and repressive activities within their jurisdiction, including a house, auxiliary premises, and vehicle search based on a court order. They found and seized items related to the case. A.H. was interviewed in official premises and informed of the proceedings; the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Plav ordered a criminal complaint against him for suspicion of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosive materials. The North Security Center's Plav Security Department continues activities related to this event to identify and prosecute other individuals who may have participated in disturbing public order and peace.
