Police taking measures and actions to clarify the incident in which an explosive device was activated in the yard of a house in Herceg Novi; minor material damage occurred – no injuries

The duty officer of the Herceg Novi Security Department was informed at 20:05 tonight by phone that Z.M. reported an explosion in the yard of his house in Herceg Novi. Upon arrival at the scene, police officers confirmed that an explosive device, most likely a hand grenade, was activated in Z.M.'s yard, causing minor material damage to the house facade. The state prosecutor in the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Herceg Novi was notified about the incident, and on his authority, police officers will conduct an inspection tomorrow morning. Police officers are taking all necessary operational-tactical measures and actions to determine the circumstances under which this event occurred, the motive for its execution, and to fully clarify this act, and the public will be informed in a timely manner.
