NCB Interpol: M.K. extradited from Serbia, member of OKG, suspected of serious murder, attempted murder, and creating a criminal organization

Officers of the Fast Targeted Search Team of NCB Interpol Podgorica and the Special Police Unit, in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, successfully carried out the extradition of the internationally wanted person M.K. (39), a Montenegrin citizen, member of a high-risk organized crime group, suspected of serious crimes against life and body, from Serbia to Montenegro. NCB Interpol Podgorica issued three international warrants for this person by order of the Higher Court in Podgorica to ensure his presence in the criminal proceedings against him for creating a criminal organization, serious murder, and attempted murder. It is alleged that, as a member of a criminal organization led by the internationally wanted R.Z., he committed a serious murder in Stanjevića Rupa in Spuž in 2014, in joint activity with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia, along with A.P., who was located and detained in Belgrade based on an international warrant issued by NCB Interpol Podgorica. The police administration remains committed to a decisive and continuous fight against organized crime, and will continue activities to identify, locate, and prosecute members of organized criminal groups and individuals suspected of committing the most serious crimes, as well as dismantling criminal structures and their networks through proactive actions, operational data exchange, and intensive international police cooperation.
