Joint controls by OB Ulcinj and Communal Police: Three persons arrested, fines issued to hospitality establishments

Officials from the Ulcinj Security Department and the Ulcinj Municipal Police continue joint activities aimed at maintaining a stable security environment through checks of individuals, hospitality venues, and compliance with communal regulations, with particular emphasis on lawful business operations, adherence to working conditions, and prevention and suppression of crime and violations. During the night, patrols and inspections of beaches and hospitality venues were conducted, during which about 330 guests were checked, including persons of operational interest. Three hospitality establishments were sanctioned, and three foreign nationals were detained for drug abuse. Due to performing live and mechanical music without permission, the Communal Police imposed legally prescribed measures and fines of 1,150 euros each on the mentioned legal entities. Additionally, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina from Sarajevo was found with MDMA (ecstasy) tablets and was detained in accordance with the Law on Drug Abuse Prevention. After collecting information, the public prosecutor in the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Ulcinj was notified, who ordered that B.A. individuals, after legal proceedings before the Misdemeanor Court, be handed over to border police inspectors for further measures and actions.
