Jakšić-Stojanović participated in the United Nations summit on education transformation

Prof. Dr. Anđela Jakšić-Stojanović, Minister of Education, Science, and Innovation of Montenegro, participated in the UN summit "Transforming Education +4" held in Paris at the invitation of UNESCO's Director-General. During her speech, Minister Jakšić-Stojanović highlighted Montenegro's key achievements in comprehensive education reform, aligning with modern European standards, and strengthening scientific and innovative capacities. She emphasized initiatives for faster and more efficient achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, with a focus on Goal 4 (Quality Education) and the 2030 Agenda. "Montenegro remains committed to creating a quality, inclusive, innovative, and resilient education system that prepares young generations for contemporary challenges, thereby contributing to the achievement of global sustainable development goals," said Jakšić-Stojanović. The "Transforming Education +4" summit brought together high officials and leaders in education to analyze progress and define further steps in transforming education systems worldwide, in line with the 2030 Agenda. The event facilitated the exchange of experiences and best practices, with particular attention to Montenegro's activities in education, science, and innovation within the context of EU accession. UNESCO representatives praised Montenegro's efforts and proactive role in implementing educational reforms and expressed full support for the Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation's future initiatives.
