Representatives of the CERV National Contact Point for Montenegro Participated in the Meeting of CERV National Contact Points
Representatives of the National Contact Point for the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme in Montenegro participated in a meeting of CERV national contact points held in Limassol, Cyprus. The meeting brought together representatives of national contact points from countries participating in the CERV programme, as well as representatives of the European Commission and the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). During the two-day meeting, participants discussed current and upcoming calls for project proposals, experiences in project implementation, and opportunities to improve support for potential applicants. Particular focus was placed on exchanging good practices and strengthening the capacities of national contact points, including topics such as gender equality, project proposal writing, child protection, cooperation with local authorities, and the use of digital tools to inform about and promote the programme. The participation of representatives of the CERV National Contact Point for Montenegro enabled the exchange of experiences with colleagues from other participating countries, as well as familiarisation with new approaches and tools that can contribute to better information provision and support for potential programme beneficiaries. Through the work of the CERV National Contact Point, Montenegro’s Ministry of Human and Minority Rights will continue to inform institutions, local authorities and civil society organisations about the opportunities offered by the programme and encourage their more active participation in European initiatives focused on protecting human rights, equality, democratic participation and strengthening European values.
