Significant Investments in Modernizing the Police Academy through Modern Equipment
As part of the 'Security for All' project, led by the Police Academy in Danilovgrad in partnership with Titan Security, Guardian World, SAB Security Montenegro, and the Association for Occupational Safety, a significant phase of investments in infrastructure and modern equipment for practical training has been successfully implemented with support from the Regional Challenge Fund (RCF). The project is carried out through the RCF, a joint initiative supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the Swiss Government, implemented via KfW Development Bank and the Western Balkans Investment Forum (WB6-CIF). All procurement and investments were conducted according to international public procurement procedures, ensuring transparency, competitiveness, and quality. To date, modern equipment and infrastructure worth over 530,000 euros have been delivered and installed. These investments further enhance the Police Academy's infrastructural and technical capacities, creating modern conditions for higher-quality practical training and the application of contemporary technologies in education. The partnership with industry through collaboration with the mentioned companies is an important segment of the project, linking education and practice to develop competencies aligned with the needs of the modern security labor market. This phase of the project marks a significant step in the modernization of the Police Academy in Danilovgrad and confirms the value of cooperation among educational institutions, industry, and international partners in improving professional education in the security sector.
