Ministry approves co-financing for CERT.LV cybersecurity capacity enhancement

In January, work began on two significant cybersecurity projects – "Nordic-Baltic Cross-Border Cyber-Hub (NBCC)" and "CERT.LV-SOC-LV". The co-financing approved by the Cabinet of Ministers is a crucial step that will ensure the successful implementation and development of both initiatives in the coming years. It will enable CERT.LV to strengthen its ability to more effectively prevent and manage cybersecurity incidents, develop security operations center activities, improve specialist competencies, and provide the necessary resources to address modern digital challenges. Since the beginning of the year, CERT.LV has been implementing two projects, both within the framework of the European Union’s "Digital Europe" program. These projects aim to develop digital security capacity and cooperation across Latvia, the Baltic States, and the Nordic region. By combining knowledge, technologies, and experience, they will enable more effective identification of digital threats, faster incident response, and promote international partnership.
