The Chief of the General Staff of the Army of Montenegro, Brigadier General Miodrag Vuksanović, met with the Chief of the General Staff of the German Armed Forces, General Karsten Brojer, who is on an official visit to Montenegro. During the meeting, they discussed enhancing bilateral defense cooperation between Montenegro and Germany, with a focus on modernizing the Montenegrin Army, developing capabilities, and collaborating in education, training, and professional development of VCG personnel. They also talked about cooperation in acquiring new H145 helicopters, which is a significant part of modernizing the Air Force capacities of the Montenegrin Army. "The cooperation between the Montenegrin Army and the German Armed Forces is based on trust, professionalism, and a shared commitment to strengthening allied capabilities within NATO. The project to acquire H145 helicopters further confirms the quality and prospects of our bilateral relations in defense," said General Vuksanović. It was assessed that Montenegro, as a NATO member, plays an important role in contributing to regional security, and cooperation with allies is a vital support in building capabilities to respond to modern security challenges.
