Police identify third person connected to attempted murder of S.B. and A.I. in Ugnji; criminal complaint filed for attempted murder through assistance

Police officers from the Police Directorate, in coordination and joint activities with the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, identified a third person suspected of being connected to the commission of a serious murder committed on 24. Based on new evidence, a special report was submitted to the competent state prosecutor in the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, as an addition to the criminal complaint, against a third person suspected of committing the crime of serious murder through assistance, to the detriment of S.B. The information collected so far during police and prosecutor activities indicates suspicion that this crime was committed in an organized manner. As part of police-prosecutor measures and actions, evidence has been secured indicating suspicion that the third person committed the crime of serious murder through assistance on 24.09.2025. Police officers, in coordination and joint efforts with the state prosecutor in the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, continue activities to identify other persons connected to the commission of this serious murder against S.B. In addition to these activities, the Police Directorate continues intensive and coordinated efforts to clarify other criminal acts against life and body committed in the previous period, as well as coordinated activities to dismantle criminal networks, about which the public will be timely informed.
