Statement from the 134th session of the Government of Montenegro

Considering that the international environment in which Montenegro operates today is characterized by increasing global instability, successful foreign policy management requires a proactive, planned, and coordinated approach based on the ability to timely recognize future trends, opportunities, and challenges, and to manage them in a way that strengthens societal resilience and the country's international position. The regulation incorporates bans and restrictions on chemicals that, through detailed risk assessment in a centralized EU procedure, have been found to pose unacceptable risks to human health and the environment in certain uses or when present in specific products. As part of the final phase of accession negotiations with the European Union in Chapter 18 - Statistics, a Roadmap has been prepared for implementing the remaining requirements of the ESA 2010 data delivery program and resolving remaining methodological issues, serving as the second final criterion for temporarily closing this negotiation chapter. With the adoption of this regulation, the reimbursement program is improved, which is becoming increasingly popular and for which there is high interest, to meet the needs of interested producers, preserve the cultural and economic quality of the program, and ensure the efficient operation of the Montenegrin Film Centre and the Committee for the determination of proposals for exercising the right to reimbursement of funds spent on the production of cinematographic works. This year's program plans to co-finance 54 projects with a total amount of 769,000 euros in the following areas: - archaeological and conservation research: 15 projects - 227,000 euros; - preparation of conservation projects and implementation of conservation measures: 28 projects - 450,000 euros; - promotion and presentation of cultural heritage: 11 projects - 92,000 euros. It was emphasized that the implementation of these projects will contribute to improving the condition of cultural assets, expanding knowledge about the values and importance of cultural heritage, fostering understanding of different cultures, strengthening cooperation between relevant institutions and owners/holders of cultural assets, and providing conditions for these assets to serve cultural, scientific, and educational needs of individuals and society, according to their purpose.
