Preparations for the 38th International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2026)

In anticipation of the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI 2026), the Examination Center, in cooperation with Five Group, provided expert and mentoring support to Balša Radulović, a student of Slobodan Škerović Gymnasium, who will represent Montenegro at this prestigious international competition. As part of the collaboration between the Examination Center and Five Group, Balša attended preparation classes with mentoring support from Haris Šabotić, a Full Stack Developer at Five Group. The sessions focused on systematic work on tasks from previous editions of the Olympiad, reinforcing key algorithmic concepts and principles, and developing an efficient approach to solving problems of varying complexity. Particular emphasis was placed on task analysis, recognizing appropriate algorithms and data structures, solution optimization, and developing the thinking methods necessary for tackling challenging competitive problems. In August, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Balša will represent Montenegro and test his knowledge against the best young informaticians from around the world.
