Ibrahimović with Ambassador Donoso: Strengthening Political Dialogue and Bilateral Cooperation between Montenegro and Chile

The Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ervin Ibrahimović, held a working meeting today with the non-resident ambassador of the Republic of Chile to Montenegro, based in Zagreb, Rodrigo Donoso. The interlocutors emphasized the importance of good communication between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro and the Chilean Embassy in Zagreb, led by Ambassador Donoso, as an important support for the development of bilateral relations. Minister Ibrahimović expressed Montenegro's interest in strengthening political contacts with Chile at the high and highest levels, assessing that more intensive exchange of visits and direct contacts would further contribute to improving the overall relations between the two countries. It was noted that there is room for stronger connection of economic and other potentials, as well as for encouraging new forms of cooperation between institutions, business communities, and other actors of the two countries. Montenegro and Chile maintain good cooperation in multilateral diplomacy, including the exchange of support and coordination within various international bodies and organs. Minister Ibrahimović and Ambassador Donoso agreed that continued regular dialogue and stronger institutional communication will contribute to further improving friendly relations between Montenegro and Chile.
