Podgorica Police Identified and Detained Person Suspected of Wounding the Victim in Front of the Gym in Zabjelo Neighborhood

Officers of the Podgorica Department of Security identified and detained R.A. (31) from Podgorica, suspected of shooting at D.R. with a pistol—firing two shots in the direction of the victim, one of which hit his left thigh, causing serious bodily injury. The suspect fled the scene, and the event was reported to the Podgorica Department of Security, whose officers undertook operational and coordinated police measures to identify and locate the individual. The incident involves elements of the criminal offense of serious bodily injury combined with illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosive materials. The suspect was ordered to be detained. The Police Administration continues intensive and coordinated activities to clarify all criminal offenses against life and body committed in the recent period.
