Vice President Bečić Congratulates on Gusinje Municipality Day
On the occasion of Gusinje Municipality Day, I extend sincere congratulations to the Municipality President Sanel Balić, the Assembly President Edvin Bektešević, councilors, and all citizens of Gusinje. Gusinje is a land rich in history, exceptional nature, and hardworking people, nestled at the foot of the magnificent Prokletije mountains, where different cultures, traditions, and religions have met for centuries. We have a responsibility to turn the natural and developmental potentials of this area into new jobs, stronger tourism, more competitive agriculture, and better living conditions for young people. A special development opportunity is the start of construction of the second section of the Bar–Boljare highway, which will significantly improve connectivity between Plav and Gusinje with the central region of Montenegro. When Podgorica is only about an hour away by car, new opportunities for investment, economic development, and full utilization of natural and tourist potentials will open. With the belief that through joint efforts of state and local institutions, and above all, the hardworking people of Gusinje, this region will continue to progress and develop, I once again extend sincere congratulations to all citizens on Municipality Day.
