Article 40 of the General Data Protection Regulation encourages the development of codes of conduct that contribute to the proper application of the General Data Protection Regulation, especially considering the specifics of individual sectors and the needs of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. Supervisory authorities promote the development of codes of conduct that support the correct implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation. Therefore, the Personal Data Protection Agency invites associations and other bodies representing categories of data controllers or processors to, in accordance with Article 40.
