Ibrahimović receives the incoming visit of the ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Dijas Ernandez

The Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ervin Ibrahimović, received the incoming visit of the non-resident ambassador of the Republic of Cuba based in Belgrade, Pavel Orencio Dijas Ernandez. Minister Ibrahimović welcomed the ambassador and wished him a successful term, expressing confidence that his diplomatic engagement will contribute to further improving the relations and cooperation between Montenegro and the Republic of Cuba. The interlocutors assessed that the relations between Montenegro and the Republic of Cuba are traditionally good and friendly, and that there is mutual interest in further strengthening them in areas of common interest. Ibrahimović emphasized that both countries are tourist destinations and believes that Montenegro, especially as a future member of the European Union, will be additionally attractive to investors for direct foreign investments. The importance of further connecting institutions and professional communities of the two countries was highlighted, with an assessment that there is room for additional substantive enrichment of bilateral relations. Ambassador Dijas Ernandez thanked for the reception and expressed readiness to contribute to the further development of friendly relations and cooperation between Montenegro and the Republic of Cuba during his mandate.
