PUBLIC CALL TO NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS TO NOMINATE A REPRESENTATIVE TO THE WORKING GROUP FOR DRAFTING THE NATIONAL YOUTH ACTION PLAN FOR 2027

Pursuant to Article 3 of the Regulation on the Selection of Representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations to the Working Bodies of State Administration Authorities and the Conduct of Public Consultations in the Preparation of Laws and Strategies (Official Gazette of Montenegro No. 41/2018), the Ministry of Sports and Youth is issuing a public call to non-governmental organizations to nominate a representative to the Working Group for drafting the National Youth Action Plan for 2027. The aim is to improve the position of young people in Montenegro through a coordinated, participatory and inclusive approach to planning key measures and activities, as well as defining and strengthening the institutional framework for their implementation. The representative of a non-governmental organization on the Working Group must meet the following criteria: have experience in the field of youth policy development and social care for young people; and not be a member of a political party body, a public official, a civil servant or a state employee. Nominations must be submitted using Form 2 prescribed by the Regulation on the Selection of Representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations to the Working Bodies of State Administration Authorities and the Conduct of Public Consultations in the Preparation of Laws and Strategies (attached). Within seven days of the deadline for submitting nominations, the Ministry of Sports and Youth will publish on its website and the e-government portal a list of representatives of non-governmental organizations, together with the names of the organizations that nominated them and that met the stated requirements. By an act establishing the Working Group, the Minister of Sports and Youth will appoint as a member the representative who meets the prescribed requirements and for whom the highest number of nominations has been submitted by non-governmental organizations that met the requirements. If two or more representatives receive the same number of nominations, the Minister of Sports and Youth will select the representative of the non-governmental organizations for the Working Group.
