Notice Regarding Public Call for Acquisition of Direct Higher Police Rank – Junior Police Inspector

In the year, regarding applications for promotion to the rank of junior police inspector, we inform candidates that the knowledge, skills, competencies, and abilities assessment (written test, oral interview, and evaluation of professional and work qualities) will be held on July 6, 2026 (Monday) at the premises of the National Training Center of the Ministry of Interior (Bulevar Josipa Broza Tita number 2) starting at 08:00 hours. Before the start of the written test, candidates' identities will be verified by inspecting their ID card, passport, or other photo ID, which can confirm their identity. After the written test, the commission will conduct individual oral interviews with candidates who score more than 50% of the points. To evaluate professional and work qualities, candidates must submit proof of completed training and specialized programs of professional education and improvement, as well as evidence of awards and recognitions for achieved results in police work. Candidates eligible for testing based on the list from the Directorate for Legal, Personnel, and Human Resources Affairs number 02-112/26-11712 dated July 1, 2026, are: the Commission for conducting the promotion procedure to the immediate higher police rank.
