Fake Advertisement Fraud

CERT.LV informs that scammers are currently actively posting enticing ads on ss.lv, andelemandele.lv, Facebook Marketplace, etc., offering products at incredibly low prices, but their true goal is to obtain potential buyers' credit card information. After a brief exchange of messages with the seemingly seller, the buyer is sent a link to a fake website that visually mimics well-known courier service providers, including DPD Latvia. When opening the phishing link, the user is prompted to enter credit card details to supposedly pay for the product, arrange delivery, or make other transaction-related payments.
