EFSA announces public call for seconded national experts from candidate countries
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has announced a public call for the engagement of seconded national experts (SNE) from countries in the process of accession to the European Union. The selected expert will be temporarily engaged with EFSA and will contribute to activities under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) 2026–2029 for the Western Balkans and Turkey. Applicants can be experts employed in government institutions or relevant public sector bodies in IPA beneficiary countries. The chosen candidate will support the implementation and coordination of EFSA's work plan and act as a contact point between EFSA and IPA beneficiary countries. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in cooperation with EU institutions and agencies, implementing IPA programs, coordinating national participation in EU processes, or supporting the alignment of national legislation with EU law.
