Mugoša and Solovov Discuss Existing and New Projects

Acting Director of the Traffic Directorate Luka Mugoša met with Ekaterina Solovova, head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) office in Montenegro, to discuss the implementation of current projects and the preparation of new ones in the field of road infrastructure, which could be realized in the near future with financial and expert support from the EBRD. The interlocutors also considered several potential infrastructure projects that could be implemented with EBRD support. "The cooperation of the Traffic Directorate with the EBRD has already resulted in the realization of important projects on Montenegro's road network. Our goal is to complete existing projects with quality and on time, as well as to jointly prepare new investments that will improve the safety and quality of the state roads," said Mugoša. Solovova emphasized the EBRD's readiness to continue cooperation with Montenegrin institutions on projects that contribute to infrastructure modernization, increased traffic safety, and sustainable economic development. The meeting concluded that quality project documentation, efficient institutional coordination, and timely procedural implementation are key to ensuring that new projects are ready for financing and implementation as soon as possible.
