Budva police identify and arrest foreign national suspected of causing maritime accident and injuring diver
A 34-year-old man suspected of operating a water scooter and causing a maritime accident that injured a 41-year-old diver from Podgorica was identified and detained by Budva police shortly after the incident. The accident occurred in the early morning near a restaurant on the Slovenska obala, where the suspect hit a person in the water. The injured diver was transported to the Kotor Clinical Center for further medical treatment. Authorities promptly responded, and through intensive field operations, the suspect was located and detained. The diver sustained minor injuries and was released after receiving medical care.
