Financial Literacy and Social Entrepreneurship Focus of Teacher Professional Development

The Institute for Education, in cooperation with the Central Bank of Montenegro, conducted training within the seminar "Enhancing Financial Literacy and Social Entrepreneurship" aimed at the professional development of teachers. The training focused on improving knowledge and skills necessary to promote financial literacy and social entrepreneurship among students, which are important competencies for everyday life and responsible community participation. Workshops, group tasks, and discussions provided teachers with opportunities to share experiences, explore ways to apply the topics in teaching, and develop ideas for working with students. Special attention was given to approaches for presenting these topics to students in an understandable and engaging manner, linking educational content with everyday situations. The continuation of the training will offer further opportunities to enhance teachers' competencies and develop specific approaches for more successful integration of financial literacy and social entrepreneurship into the educational process. The Institute for Education, in collaboration with the Central Bank of Montenegro, continues to support teachers' professional growth and create conditions for acquiring knowledge and skills that enable students to participate more independently and responsibly in society.
