Training Course in Personal Data Protection for Employees of SRL „Chișinău-Gaz”
On August 18, 2026, the National Center for Personal Data Protection (CNPDCP) organized a training course for employees of SRL „Chișinău-Gaz”, focused on applying the provisions of Law No. The training aimed to strengthen employees' knowledge and skills regarding new legal requirements in the field of personal data protection, as well as to develop their capacity to correctly identify and manage situations involving data processing in their professional activities. Additionally, aspects related to informing data subjects, processing special categories of data, transmitting personal data to third parties, retention periods, and technical and organizational measures necessary to ensure data security were addressed. Participants showed particular interest in practical situations encountered daily, including customer data collection and use, employee access to information, data transmission to third parties, handling data subject requests, and actions to take in case of security incidents. Interactive discussions and practical examples during the training allowed participants to clarify concrete situations and better understand how to implement legal requirements in their professional activities. By organizing this activity, CNPDCP continues its process of informing and raising awareness among organizations in the Republic of Moldova about new legal requirements in personal data protection, contributing to increased compliance and promoting an organizational culture based on responsibility and respect for data subjects' rights.
