Late Enrollment Competition for Admission to First Grade of High Schools for the School Year 2026-2027

The Ministry of Education, Science, and Innovation announces a late competition for the enrollment of students in the first grade of high schools in Montenegro for the 2026/2027 school year. Candidates who have completed elementary school and are not older than 17 years at the time of application are eligible to apply. During the application period, the commission is required to publish an updated ranking list of candidates daily at 4 PM, for those who applied by 3 PM that day, to inform them of their position on the list. The ranking list is posted on the school notice board and includes each candidate's name, parent's or guardian's name, surname, individual points based on admission criteria, and total points. After the ranking list is published, students submit the original certificates of the last three grades of elementary school and diplomas from national and international competitions or awards within deadlines set by the school. Students in dual education programs are entitled to compensation, which for the first year is at least 10%, for the second year at least 15%, and for the third year at least 20% of the average net salary in Montenegro from the previous year, relative to the year the compensation is paid.
