At Prime Minister Spajić’s Initiative, Efforts Launched to Find a Solution for the “Ada” Sports Hall
The “Ada” Sports Hall in Pljevlja faces numerous challenges, stemming, among other things, from its complex legal and ownership status, as well as previous decisions and actions that have not contributed to the facility’s long-term sustainable operation. Recognizing the hall’s importance to Pljevlja and its citizens, activities have been launched at the initiative of Montenegro’s Prime Minister, Milojko Spajić, aimed at finding solutions to overcome the existing problems and creating the conditions for its continued operation. On this occasion, Minister of Finance Novica Vuković, PhD, spoke with Pljevlja Mayor Dario Vraneš and representatives of the hall’s management about the current situation and possibilities for overcoming the existing problems. Prime Minister Spajić’s initiative to actively address the issue of the “Ada” Sports Hall confirms the commitment to reaching concrete and sustainable solutions through dialogue, cooperation, and institutional coordination. He emphasized that the “Ada” Sports Hall is of particular importance to Pljevlja, not only as a sports facility but also as a space that brings together young people, sports clubs, and the entire local community. The Ministry of Finance and the Government of Montenegro will continue discussions and cooperation with the Municipality of Pljevlja and the relevant institutions in order to reach, through constructive dialogue, a solution that serves the interests of Pljevlja’s citizens and enables the preservation of this important part of the local sports infrastructure.
