Minister Gutić: It is important for skilled workers to have proper professional support
Minister of Social Welfare, Family, and Demography Damir Gutić addressed the presentation of the collection "Findings and Opinions in Case Management – Examples of Good Practice from Guardianship Authorities," which was created based on the experience and work of professionals from social work centers across Montenegro. He emphasized that findings and opinions represent an important outcome of assessment and serve as a basis for further action in specific cases, with their quality involving a comprehensive view of the user's situation, relevant facts, needs, risks, and capacities. Director of the Institute for Social and Child Protection Ana Kulić Ratković highlighted that the exchange of experiences among professionals and the presentation of good practice examples contribute to the continuous improvement of professional work. The purpose of findings and opinions is to provide clear, relevant, and professionally grounded information necessary for decision-making in the best interest of users, both in guardianship authorities and in court proceedings. The reform of the social and child protection system, including the introduction of case management methodology and the development of the Social Welfare Information System e-Socijala, has laid the foundation for a more uniform approach to working with users. The collection "Findings and Opinions in Case Management – Examples of Good Practice from Guardianship Authorities" is another step toward strengthening professional practice and better protection of individuals' and families' rights and best interests.
