Vice President Koprivica congratulates on Montenegro Independence Day

July – Montenegro Independence Day. This magnificent date symbolizes the international recognition of the state and the national uprising against fascism, the greatest evil in human history, but also reminds us that Montenegrin statehood was not built in a single moment or event, but through centuries of struggle for freedom, dignity, and the right to decide our future. It is our duty to responsibly and honorably preserve this legacy. Respect for history does not mean living in the past, but the ability to build a fairer society and stronger institutions based on tradition. Our future does not rest on divisions, but on trust. Not on forgetfulness, but on truth and respect for everything that led to the freedom and development of Montenegro. May our Independence Day remind us that patriotism is primarily the responsibility to build a state with strong institutions, the rule of law, freedom, equality, mutual respect, and a culture that will remain as a legacy for future generations.
