“Consumer Law Ready” – Ready for Consumer Rights

As part of the European “Consumer Law Ready” project, an online training session for trainers will be organised to strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the field of European Union consumer law. The programme is funded by the European Union with the support of the European Commission and implemented by a consortium comprising EUROCHAMBRES (the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry), BEUC (the European Consumer Organisation) and SMEunited (the Association of European SMEs). The first training session is intended for future trainers, who will pass on the knowledge they acquire to businesses in their communities, thereby helping local SMEs more easily meet European standards in their relations with consumers. The training will take place from 12:00 to 15:30. Participants will work through all seven modules of the programme. They will also be introduced to materials they can use when working with businesses, as well as the steps required to obtain a consumer law trainer certificate. After registering, participants will receive an email confirmation with a joining link and a calendar invitation. More information about the project and available materials can be found at www.consumerlawready.eu.
