NLnet supports the exhibit of Blender at the annual Siggraph conference, which is the largest and most renowned event for the (3D) Computer Graphics industry. In the current economic climate, there is a growing interest among studios and companies in open standards and open source software. The Blender Foundation aims to showcase the new Blender release and tools to participants, promoting open source solutions for 3D content creation and real-time 3D on the web. Additionally, there was a presentation of the MSRP library & SIP IM system at the Terena Network Conference 2009.
