NFP4Health 2

In the implementation of activities at the national level, the Ministry of Health collaborates with the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro, considering that both institutions are involved in performing the function of national contact points for the EU4Health program in Montenegro. NFP4Health 2 aims to strengthen the capacities of national contact points in the health sector to support the effective implementation of EU health programs in participating countries. The project builds on the previous NFP4Health Joint Action and contributes to improving the ability of national contact points to provide expert support, foster synergies with national health initiatives, and facilitate coordinated implementation of EU health priorities. The project further enhances capacity-building activities initiated under the previous NFP4Health Joint Action through knowledge exchange, training, the Knowledge Hub, and targeted support for future users. These activities include current developments in EU health policy and funding frameworks, to better prepare national contact points to guide national actors through application and implementation processes within the EU4Health program. Participation in this project allows the Ministry of Health and the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro to further improve coordination within the EU4Health program, exchange experiences with other participating countries, and contribute to better linking European health priorities with national needs and policies.
