Ulcinj: Arrested Podgorica man for stealing motorcycle, fleeing police, and causing accident
Officials from the Ulcinj Police Department yesterday detained a person from Podgorica who, after stealing a motorcycle, fled from police, caused a traffic accident, and was under the influence of alcohol. The victim reported that his Piaggio Beverly motorcycle, parked at Mala plaža, was stolen. Police immediately responded and, after a short search, located the motorcycle and the suspect. During the attempt to escape, the suspect caused a traffic accident by hitting a wall of a hospitality establishment with the front of the motorcycle. Testing showed he had a blood alcohol concentration of 1.84 g/kg, leading to his arrest in accordance with the Road Traffic Safety Law. Following police procedures and actions, at the request of the public prosecutor in Ulcinj, J.A. was taken into custody.
