NGŠ Vuksanović at the NATO Military Committee Annual Conference in Copenhagen

Brigadier General Miodrag Vuksanović emphasized that Montenegro's participation at the highest level of NATO decision-making confirms the country's commitment to continue contributing to the alliance's collective deterrence and defense. General Vuksanović highlighted the importance of developing capabilities and technological modernization, noting that modern security environments require transforming resources into concrete and usable capabilities. NATO continues to strengthen its deterrence and defense capabilities, including integrated air and missile defense. The NATO Military Committee, representing the highest military authority of the Alliance, gathers Chiefs of Defense three times a year, with an annual conference organized and hosted by one of the member countries. According to NATO plans, Montenegro will host the NATO Military Committee's annual conference in 2027, providing an opportunity to host Chiefs of Defense and NATO strategic commanders.
