Subject 'Favorite': Suspect Detained in Pljevlja for Marijuana Sale

Officers from the Regional Security Center 'Zapad' – Pljevlja Security Department and the Drug Control Unit conducted targeted activities aimed at combating street drug sales and distribution in the municipality of Pljevlja. They carried out operations under the code name 'Favorite,' which resulted in the detention of E.T. upon order from the higher public prosecutor's office in Bijelo Polje. E.T. is suspected of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession, and trafficking of narcotics. During operational and evidentiary activities, police learned that E.T. allegedly sold marijuana to others on two occasions earlier this year in Pljevlja. Further police actions led to the discovery and seizure of marijuana believed to be involved in these illegal sales, providing additional evidence for the criminal proceedings. The higher public prosecutor in Bijelo Polje was informed of the measures taken, and she ordered E.T.'s detention. The police will continue with planned and coordinated activities to suppress all forms of illegal drug trafficking and to identify and prosecute individuals involved in such crimes.
