First Meeting of the Steering Committee of the Project 'Establishment of the Customs Administration Control Center'
On [year], the first meeting of the Steering Committee of the project 'Establishment of the Customs Administration Control Center' was held at the premises of the Customs Administration. The meeting presented key project activities, including activities related to finalizing tender documentation, the timeline for their implementation, and the work plan for the upcoming period. Special attention was given to determining the next activities and their implementation schedule, serving as a basis for further project monitoring. Representatives of the Customs Administration, the Ministry of European Affairs, and the European Union Delegation in Montenegro attended the meeting. The project is implemented with financial support from the European Union amounting to 1.35 million euros in non-repayable funds, while the Government of Montenegro contributes 150,000 euros. The establishment of the Control Center is part of activities aimed at improving the capacity of the Customs Administration for more efficient coordination and management of customs controls, in accordance with European standards.
