Professional Development of Teachers in Financial Literacy and Social Entrepreneurship Continues

The Institute for Education, in cooperation with the Central Bank of Montenegro, is continuing the professional development of teachers through the seminar “Advancing Financial Literacy and Social Entrepreneurship.” Educational institutions play an important role in helping students learn to make thoughtful financial decisions, develop initiative, and recognize opportunities to contribute to their communities through their ideas and actions. Through practical tasks, group work, and guided discussions, the two-person training team skillfully encouraged participants to reconsider existing approaches and explore ways to incorporate financial literacy and social entrepreneurship into teaching. The teachers’ continuous engagement added particular value to the training, as they asked questions, presented examples from practice, and jointly developed ideas for working with students. The exchange of experiences enabled the topics covered to be considered in the context of specific teaching situations, with an emphasis on activities that foster critical thinking, cooperation, and responsible decision-making. Through cooperation with the Central Bank of Montenegro, the Institute for Education contributes to improving teachers’ competencies and developing the knowledge and skills that help students make informed financial decisions, manage resources responsibly, and recognize opportunities to contribute to their communities.
