Informative session on ERC grant in Podgorica

An informative session was held in Podgorica regarding the current call for project proposals to strengthen regional cooperation (ERC), co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the EU/WBF Joint Action, phase III. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Montenegro, as the chair of the Western Balkans Fund, remains committed to strengthening good neighborly relations and regional cooperation, especially through supporting projects that contribute to connectivity, experience exchange, and the development of new partnerships in the region. It was also highlighted that active civil sector participation is of particular importance for further enhancing regional cooperation and European integration of the Western Balkans, and a message of encouragement was sent for applications within the current call and creating new partnerships in the region. Fund Secretariat representatives presented key information about the call, conditions, application procedures, and practical guidelines for preparing project proposals. The ERC grant, with a maximum amount of up to 25,000 euros per project, is intended for civil society organizations and associations, supporting projects in areas such as education, culture, media, and other fields important for regional cooperation.
