Published Regulation on the List of Approved New Food for Market Placement
In 2023, the Regulation on the List of Approved New Food for Market Placement was published, which came into force on the 29th. The regulation prescribes the list of approved new foods for market placement. The list is provided in the Annex, which is an integral part of the Regulation and is published only in the electronic edition of the 'Official Gazette of Montenegro'. The Regulation incorporates into Montenegrin legislation the regulations on amendments and supplements to the implementing regulation of the European Commission (EU) 2017/2470 on establishing the Union list of novel foods, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and of the Council on novel foods.
