9th Session of the Council for Scientific Research
The Council reviewed the results of the European Social Survey (ESS), the evaluation results, and the established ranking of candidates. Based on the documentation considered, the Council proposed that the Minister of Education, Science and Innovation appoint the highest-ranked candidate, Dr Jelena Zvizdojević, as Montenegro’s national coordinator for the 13th round. Continuing its work, the Council presented members with the Draft Excellence Scholarship Programme for Doctoral Research in Montenegro for 2026. Consideration of the Programme was organized in a hybrid format: members submitted suggestions, proposals, and questions electronically, while the continuation of the session took place on the 9th. The Programme provides for the allocation of grants in the form of scholarships for doctoral research projects by outstanding doctoral students who, in the 2026/2027 academic year, are enrolled in doctoral studies. The Programme was unanimously approved by the members who participated in the session, through written statements and statements by members who attended the continuation of the session in person.
